Living Gourmet Cafe is a local family-owned and operated business. Our delicious range of meals and sweet treats are almost completely house-made by our talented cooks and chef. Our family-oriented business extends past the food on your plate to include a friendly-faced culture of putting you, the customer, first, and striving to make your every visit a pleasant and memorable one.
When Naomi and David took over Stephanie’s Family Café in July 2015, they knew that they had the opportunity to take an established business and build it into a brighter, more contemporary café with a healthier focus and still appeal to the happy local patrons. After renovations and redecorating, foremost to this end was updating the menu and changing the name to reflect the new style. Hence the birth of Living Gourmet Café in November 2015, where the concept of living a healthy life is merged with delicious food and a bright and welcoming atmosphere.
Our food is simple and healthy but full of flavour. We’re always experimenting, trying out new items and using seasonal ingredients, particularly on our daily Specials Board.

We love to provide great food and excellent service, and we employ like-minded local staff whose focus and dedication are the same. We frequently offer a first step into the hospitality industry for young local people, providing them with training, experience and opportunities.
The space is large, bright and open plan, and suitable for couples, families or group meetings. If you wish, take a quick coffee or snack at our tall bar table, or have a quiet cosy curl-up with a cappuccino on our comfortable Chesterfield sofa. We believe that Living Gourmet is the type of place you’ll want to come back to again and again.
We are open for breakfast, morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea seven days a week except most public holidays. We aim to hold regular dinner evenings, with a delicious new seasonal menu each time. These evenings are a great relaxing night out for patrons and an extra chance for our talented chefs to get creative with the latest dinner food trends.
